By engaging in therapy, she helps you address a range of topics so you can gain clarity such as unpacking trauma experiences, recognizing and regulating emotions, navigating through relational discourse, recognizing the importance of self-care, and managing your overall health and wellness by cultivating self-compassion.
Reema supports individuals with mental health concerns that include anxiety, depression, grief, relational distress, childhood trauma, PTSD, and sexual trauma. She also helps individuals overcome self-esteem issues, emotional regulation, stress management, acculturative stress, and life transitions.
As a second- generation Canadian, Reema is passionate about working with immigrants, refugees, and members of the BIPOC community and is fluent in English, Punjabi, Urdu, and Hindi. She is an approved service provider for CVAP and IFHP. Her approach is integrative and holistic with a culturally responsive, developmentally sensitive lens influenced by an understanding of the impact of trauma on the brain and CBT as her main modality. She also draws from DBT, EMDR, ACT, somatic experiencing, family systems, and Gottman Method.

Kiran uses a client-centered, empathetic approach to therapy, emphasizing empowerment and personal growth.
She is experienced in providing support across various settings, helping clients navigate mental health issues, substance use, trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. She employs evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Person-centered Therapy and Mindfulness, to help clients gain insight into their emotions, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve sustainable, positive transformation. Ashiya Khan-Sequeira is an Indo-Fijian Canadian therapist who immigrated to British Columbia at the age of eight, bringing a rich cultural perspective to her over 20 years of experience in the mental health field. Fluent in both English and Hindi, she provides accessible and culturally nuanced care to a diverse range of clients. Her work is grounded in an anti-oppressive and trauma-informed framework, where she draws from her Adlerian training to integrate client-centered principles through mutual respect, encouragement, and collaboration. Taking a holistic approach to counseling, Ashiya emphasizes the profound connection between the mind and body. She utilizes somatic therapy and a "bottom-up" approach, supporting clients in understanding how life experiences are held within the body and nervous system to foster true regulation, safety, and long-term healing. Her extensive postgraduate training allows her to skillfully integrate a wide range of modalities, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, Lifespan Integration, and Mindfulness-based approaches.
Beyond individual work, Ashiya provides attachment-based couples counseling, utilizing her Level 2 training in Emotionally Focused Therapy to help partners recognize and shift out of unhelpful relational cycles. As a woman of color, she is deeply committed to the healing and empowerment of racialized and marginalized communities, specializing in support for those impacted by intergenerational trauma. Ashiya strives to provide a safe, nurturing, and culturally responsive environment where every client’s lived experience is honored as a strength. She is also a proud ally to the LGBTQ2+ community and provides affirming care for concerns such as anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, grief, and identity development. When she is not supporting others in their healing journeys, Ashiya enjoys staying active through running and yoga, unwinding with Netflix, and spending quality time with her partner of over 22 years and their three children.
