As an RCC, my practice is focused on helping individuals, couples, and families who feel trapped and powerless, and desire to move forward on their healing journey with a positive mindset. With empathy and care, I work with adults and youth with mental health concerns stemming from childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, and relational trauma, and women who are victims of gender-based violence and sexual assault.
To support individuals as they navigate through life's complexities, I offer counselling for concerns related to self-esteem, stress management, procrastination, perfectionism, burnout, anger management, and vicarious trauma. I also provide counselling for mental health concerns that include addictions, ADHD, emotional dysregulation (BPD), grief and loss, bicultural identity crises, family problems, acculturative stress, and life transitions.
With Gottman Level 1 Training, I work with couples who are facing communication and interpersonal challenges in their relationship. I offer court-ordered therapy for anger management and respectful relationships. I also work with families experiencing inter-generational conflict due to acculturation and intercultural tension from changes in family structure and dynamics.
